Common help topics

A run did not record

Corruns needs location permission set to “Always” or “While using the app” and battery optimisation switched off for it. Recording continues offline — the run uploads when you are back on a network.

A run is stuck as pending

Open the app on a network and leave it in the foreground; the queue retries by itself. If it is still pending after a day, email us the date and time of the run.

My loop did not claim anything

A claim needs the route to close — finish where you started. A run that does not close still counts as an activity, it just claims no ground.

Kilometres and miles

Corruns shows both, side by side, everywhere — in the app, in the portal and on public challenge pages. There is nothing to set, and a challenge never depends on which unit you read.

Someone took my territory

That is the game: when a rival closes a loop over your ground, the overlap changes hands. Run it back. If you think the activity was not genuine, report it and the organizer reviews it.

My run was rejected or is in review

Activities are checked for speeds that do not match the declared activity, impossible jumps and GPS gaps. Middle-band scores go to the challenge organizer to decide; write to us if you believe a decision was wrong.

Apple Health / Health Connect

Imported workouts come through the same validation as recorded runs. An imported workout is not a GPS trace, so it cannot claim territory.

Voice, programmes and stories

Session audio downloads before the run. If a voice does not play, check the app’s audio settings, your ringer switch, and that the pack finished downloading.

Notifications

Territory losses, results, invites and reactions each have their own switch in the app’s notification preferences.
